IN THIS LESSON
who was jesus?
Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem and raised in Nazareth, growing up in a humble family. Around the age of thirty, He began a public ministry that lasted about three years. During this time, He traveled throughout Galilee and Judea teaching about the Kingdom of God, calling people to repentance, love, and forgiveness. He spoke in parables so ordinary people could understand spiritual truths and gathered twelve disciples to follow Him closely. Jesus performed many miracles—healing the sick, giving sight to the blind, calming storms, feeding thousands, and raising the dead—demonstrating compassion and authority. He welcomed outcasts, challenged religious hypocrisy, and emphasized loving God and loving one another. His ministry led to opposition from some religious leaders, and He was arrested, tried, and crucified under Roman authority. Christians believe that three days after His death, He rose from the dead, appearing to His followers before ascending to heaven. His life and actions form the foundation of Christian faith and continue to influence billions of people around the world.
